Thanks everyone for another great year of Ad League.
Another exciting season of Softball on Regents Park ended in August, with some close run-ins. Thank you to all the teams who once again turned out rain and shine to make it great season.
The Captains meeting for 2012 will be announced in the new year, but if you can’t wait that long for more Ad League fun and games then check out the bowling league – speak to your team captains who will have the details.
We also have to mention this year’s rookie team who have just returned from Las Vegas and put up an excellent showing, mixing it with some very experienced teams from the UK & USA. Congratulations to all of you. From all at LASL, have a great winter and see you next year!
Captains’ Meeting – Venue & Time
The LASL 2011 Captains’ Meeting will take place upstairs at the Crown & Goose, Delancey Street / corner of Arlington Street, Camden Town, NW1 – 7pm.
Please arrive promptly with a pen & pad, or some new fangled device with which to note down important points.

2011 Season just around the corner
2011 LASL season starts on Wednesday May 4th, dust off your gloves and get the shoulders warmed up!
Speak to your captains after the April 14th Captains’ Meeting to find out more… schedules will be posted up on the website here just as soon as they are confirmed. With lots of new teams wanting to join this year we are still trying to get it all sorted… bear with us and watch this space!
The GB Women's Fastpitch Team has entered a British Airways contest for the second time that could get them free flights to the World Championships next year, and once again, they need EVERYONE to go online and give the application a high rating.
BaseballSoftballUK has just published two important documents covering the year from April 2008 to March 2009: an Annual Review and Audited Accounts. Both are available as downloads from this website.
BaseballSoftballUK has received a green light approval rating from Sport England for 2009 on its governance procedures after an annual Partner Assurance review.
